"Devil by the Window" 這首歌出自 TOMORROW ✕ TOGETHER 日前推出的 The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION 迷你專輯，作為 Intro 有著超長的韓文歌名：자정의 창가에서 만난 악마의 목소리는 달콤했다，直譯為「在午夜的窗前遇見的惡魔聲音十分甜美」。一瞬間讓我想起韓劇《當惡魔呼喊你的名字》（악마가너의이름을부를때），兩者沒什麼關聯就是了。這首我聽一遍就挺喜歡，也開心 TXT 的作品終於又掠過了頭痛少年的身影；再聽一遍才曉得是哪裡感覺莫名熟悉——原來就是夢章的 "Eternally" 裡變奏的惡夢耳語。關於 The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY 好像不曾寫過，它卻是我最最喜歡的 TXT 專輯，唯一敗筆可能是崔然竣的髮色。

"Devil by the Window" 像是延伸了 "Eternally" 的噩夢支線，兩者都有那種孤單落寞太甚而偏執發狂的轉折，混亂的心念與不安的處境也有相似的具象方式：意味著分裂／錯岔的變奏，以及惡魔和其展翅的意象。 TXT 存在本身就帶有迷茫的氛圍，也因此他們詮釋起這些自我掙扎的主題，無論走向是空靈是邪門，都適合到一個不行。他們越是找不到明確風格，越是看得我甜蜜心煩愉悅混亂，公司真的別貼他們什麼 Good Boy、Bad Boy 標籤了，追尋自我的意義就是讚 boy。

久違地在 TXT 的作品裡聽見自己喜歡的類型，結果除了韓版歌名以外全曲英文，是感覺有那麼一點點可惜。另外本次主打 "Sugar Rush Ride" 的歌曲編制未免太像隔壁 EN 團的 Drunk-Dazed，只不過是 Antidrop 版，害我連多聽幾遍都懶。不過那是因為我本來就不喜痞酷風而不是針對 EN 人（他們團還是我囊螢夜投投出來的），像 "Just a Little Bit" 就是非常棒的作品，網路上也現存品質優良的中文歌詞翻譯。總之好歌當然是多多益善，2023 年的第一篇文章就獻給之於我永遠特別的 TXT 了。
